As well working as a performer, Alex arranges and teaches vocal studies.

Arranging work has included orchestral reductions, dance and vocal arrangements for shows such as: CALL ME MADAM, MACK & MABEL, RENT, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and SWEENEY TODD as well as original medleys and arrangements of Broadway and Swing classics for various cabaret groups and production shows.

Alex made his debut as a composer with the soundtrack to a play of The Diary of Anne Frank in early 2009 - see the CD page for details of the tracks and the chance to hear one or two. In 2010 he will follow up this foray with a score to ‘Hobson’s Choice’. playing at The Broadway Theatre in Catford.

As a SESSION SINGER he has performed all over the country for recording and live performance artists.  His rather unusual 4 octave range has been extremely useful as he is able to create an entire chorus, bass to soprano, all on his own!

An invaluable service for pros and amateurs alike who require tracks to rehearse their audition/show pieces to. Email the PDF to me (see below) and I'll record a piano version, guide vocal (via electronic instrument) and a slower version if required.

VOCAL ARRANGEMENTS

Choral groups or BVs - get the most from your singers by someone who knows about the voice.

ORCHESTRAL ARRANGEMENTS

No group too small or large.  Musical Theatre, Swing and Standards are a speciality.

Solo or group work available - all contacts are professionals with many years of experience.

With patience and understanding, your group can learn things they never thought possible.  Facilities available for recording practice CDs/MP3s.

BACKING/CLICK TRACKS

Having an extensive background in cabaret and production work before joining the world of Musical Theatre leaves me with a great sense of style and experience in all repertoire.  Backing Vocals also included.
