TREASURE ISLAND

By Alex Weatherhill
Adapted from the book by Robert Louis Stevenson

Who will find the treasure first? Whose side is Long John Silver really on?

Young Jim Hawkins discovers a treasure map in the chest of a deceased pirate, Billy Bones, and takes it to Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney who decide to outfit a ship, the Hispaniola, to seek the treasure. The crew is led by Captain Smollett and includes Long John Silver, and other pirates disguised as honest seamen.

As the journey progresses, Jim discovers that Silver and most of the crew plan a mutiny. After landing on the island, Jim joins forces with loyal crew members and Ben Gunn, a marooned former pirate. Through a series of adventures and battles, Jim and his allies outwit the pirates, discover the treasure, and manage to bring it back to England.
